I am excited to announce the opening of our new S2 Testing Lab inside the COTD Softball House in partnership with S2Cognition, which allows us to finally be able to coordinate the seen (physical skills and gifts) with the unseen (brain wiring) to better evaluate and train athletes!

About the event
The S2 Eval is a digital assessment that measures and quantifies an athlete’s ability to make crucial split-second decisions at game-speed. Such as “what is the pitch” (Perception Speed); “where is the pitch?” (Trajectory Prediction); “when do I swing?” (Timing Control); and “whether or not I swing?” (Impulse Control). This assessment is being used at the highest levels of the game including Major League Baseball and the top college programs in the country including Oklahoma, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Missouri, Oregon State, and others, and is now available exclusively in the San Antonio area through the COTD Softball House. We will also have the capability to assess athletes in other sports outside of softball and baseball using an evaluation designed to measure the cognitive needs in football, basketball, soccer and more.
